BLERD Ventures was founded to serve two distinct purposes.  The first focus was to support and develop the next generation of young minority entrepreneurs in hopes that they can develop solutions to the problems facing urban environments.  The second was to divert resources and investments to typically marginalized communities in hopes of harnessing the raw potential in attempt to maximize the utility of their current assets.
